But it has a huge number of free calling destination. You can call to specific destinations for free and also send free sms world wide for limited time. After that a message will come up showing " You have not free calling time left"
This is actually a new method that betamax used.
Previously if you have signedup from any not free destinations , you could still make free calls to free destitations unlimited times. The line might get disconnected sometime automatically. But recent updates of Voipcheap.com is somehow getting access to your pc and limiting the free calling option.
I heard from a free destination caller that he can make unlimited calls to any free destination as he signed up from a destination labled FREE by Voipcheap.com. But betamax tracks your ip address and the pc you sign up from.So you can't use several betamax voipsofts from same pc or ipaddress. It'll give error 408 or 413. But you can surely ask some other friend to sign up new accounts for you and send the account info. You can then use that account to make free calls (limited times) from any where.
Yesterday i tried Voipcheap.com and tried to place somecalls to Canada. The call got connected but the voip quality was very poor. It may be caused by my net connection but i've used voipcheap.com before and it was better.
If anyone thinking about a short term plan to make free calls then i would suggest voipcheap.com but you need a good net connection which was not that essential before. But i still prefer mediaringTalk as it's giving free calls to 6-7 countries and the voice quality is much much better.
